Operator and agreement

Surveyor IQ is operated by Spotlight Ventures Limited, company number 17076611, registered in England and Wales. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and confirm that you have read the current privacy notice.

Surveyor IQ is a business and professional workflow service for users aged 18 or over.

What Surveyor IQ does

Surveyor IQ supports site evidence, floor plans, defect mapping, survey notes, structured findings, report drafting, review and export. Rules, templates and automation are assistive only.

Surveyor IQ does not carry out a survey, inspect a property, certify compliance, value property, provide legal advice or replace a suitably qualified surveyor.

Accounts and security

• Provide accurate information and keep credentials and devices secure.
• Use only the firm, role and client access granted to you. Accounts must not be shared.
• Firm administrators are responsible for removing access when it is no longer required.
• We may re-authenticate, revoke sessions, restrict or suspend access for security, legal compliance, non-payment, misuse or service integrity.

Professional responsibility

The responsible surveyor remains accountable for inspection scope, site safety, standards, evidence, limitations, condition ratings, recommendations and final report wording. Review all automated suggestions before issue.

Floor plans and pins are working aids unless separately prepared and verified for another purpose.

Your content and firm records

You retain ownership of material you upload and grant us a limited licence to host and process it only to provide, secure and support the service. You must have authority to upload property, client and professional material.

Removing an individual account does not automatically delete firm-owned reports, evidence or audit history. Client links must be shared only with intended recipients.

Acceptable use

Do not use Surveyor IQ unlawfully, upload malicious or infringing material, access another firm without authority, bypass security controls, falsify evidence, conceal material changes or create misleading professional records.

Availability, plans and communications

Hosted functions depend on network and provider availability. Confirm that important work has synchronised or been exported before deleting the app, changing device or signing out with pending work.

Any paid plan, renewal, cancellation and refund terms are shown before purchase. Transactional security, report, billing, legal and support messages may still be sent. Optional marketing can be withdrawn.

Account closure and liability

Users can start account deletion in the app or follow the public deletion guidance. Personal data is deleted or de-identified unless firm ownership or legal, security, professional, tax or audit duties require retention.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for professional conclusions, property defects, unsafe site activity, inaccurate user content or decisions based on unreviewed suggestions.

General terms

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory rights that apply to the user. Material changes will be versioned and may require renewed acceptance.
