Operator and agreement

Learn a Trade is operated by Spotlight Ventures Limited, company number 17076611, registered in England and Wales. By using the app or starting a purchase, you agree to these terms and confirm that you have read the privacy notice.

Training boundary

Learn a Trade provides educational revision, progress tracking and simulated practice. It does not provide live electrical-work instructions, certification, qualified supervision or a substitute for current regulations, manufacturer instructions, safe systems of work or competent professional judgement.

Use of the app does not promise exam success, qualification, employment or a particular practical outcome.

Subscriptions

• The price, billing period and renewal terms shown by Apple App Store or Google Play before purchase apply.
• Subscriptions renew until cancelled through the relevant store account settings.
• Store rules govern billing, cancellation, refunds and restoration of purchases.
• Clearing local app data or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.

Use of the app

Use the app lawfully. Do not bypass purchase or security controls, interfere with online services, submit unlawful material, copy protected content outside permitted use or misrepresent simulator results as real inspection or certification evidence.

Content and accuracy

Learning material is reviewed and updated, but standards, guidance and qualification requirements can change. Check the current authoritative source and use qualified supervision before real work. Report suspected errors through the in-app reporting control.

Data and availability

Progress is primarily stored on the device. Keep appropriate records before clearing data or changing device. Optional sync, reports, purchases and restoration depend on network, store and provider availability.

Intellectual property

The app, branding, interface, questions, simulator material and original content belong to Spotlight Ventures or its licensors. Personal, non-transferable use is allowed while you comply with these terms.

Liability and law

Nothing excludes liability or statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for real-world electrical work, unsupervised decisions, changed standards, store outages or indirect loss arising from use of training simulations.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory rights that apply to the user.
